At the heart of our farm in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin is Giene—a lifelong animal lover, professional dog trainer, and passionate, ethical breeder of Lagotti Romagnoli and Portuguese Water Dogs. With over 30 years of experience in animal behavior, she brings not just knowledge, but heart and soul into everything she does.
A six-time Best of Madison Gold winner, nationally awarded business owner, and published author, Giene is also known for her work with rescue groups, shelters, and service dog programs. But at home, her biggest joy is raising happy, healthy puppies who are set up for success in loving families.
Each puppy is raised with care, intention, and an emphasis on early socialization, sound temperaments, and strong human connection. Her breeding program is built on integrity—prioritizing health testing, structure, and a deep respect for the breeds she loves so much.
